In uni I decided a piece of artwork needed to be burnt at the edges to really authenticate that 'old' look.Unfortunately, the type of brown paper I was using turned out to be too flamable.Normally the flame flickers,nibbles the edges and then dies slowly, but today the paper went Whhooss! up in flame and had to be thrown into a nearby sink and extinuished.And the drawing of the little girl?- it was completely burnt away but for her head!!Thank goodness for Craig's quick thinking!
